Smile Setup remote MySQL on Linux Dedicated Server - 06-24-2009, 07:06 PM

You can follow the steps given below to setup remote MySQL on your Linux Dedicated Server :

Note : These steps are given keeping in mind that you have cPanel/WHM control panel with your Linux Dedicated Server

1. First, login into WHM and click on SQL services option.

2. Now, you will find an icon named setup 'Remote MySQL Server'. Click on this option.

3. In the host section, enter the name of the remote server with the password in the remote "MySQL host root password" and click on 'Setup'.

You are done and I hope the information is helpful

Regards,

Garry Lawson.
