Question Getting started as a reseller host ?

OK, I have just purchased a reseller account and would like to see what people are using for software to track users, billing...etc... what works.. what doesn't? Anyone want to help make this forum a little more useful?

See-ya

Modernbill, whmautopilot, accountlabs, whmcs & whoiscart are some of the most popular billing systems. We use modernbill and there's nothing as good as modernbill

poor response from other members on forum is quite demotivating. I think we need to change theme of this forum as I don't feel comfortable with it so must be other customers.

We will have things in perfect shape by the end of this year

I've done this job many times for many different hosting companies so it wont take much time for me to improve forum traffic

Andrew,
A new theme by itself will not get members to participate in the forums. We had horrible schemes earlier on, much worse than this one, still with plenty of members' activity.

Obvious links to the forums on the Micfo main page or at least the members section, and getting the forum software to work correctly on the other hand probably would help.

The forum does no work correctly, at least for me. The problem indeed started a fair while ago with this latest default forum scheme: for example, using Firefox I always start logged out (probably a problem with the cookies, but it does not happen for me with other forums), but there is no link to enable loging in to the members section, just one to "log out" on the banner, which remains always the same whether you are logged in or logged out.

I have found out that one trick to be able to login to the members section is to go to the "members list", login, then click on the "Micfo Forums" link on the banner to start again logged in and be able to see the members' section. Other users who face this problem probably never bother and therefore do not even see the member-only section. No wonder there is no activity!

I totally agree -- suggestions have previously been made to when Forum redesign was underway but I'm guessing they weren't fully implemented.

I hope things will change

I agree as well.. more exposer is the only way. As far as login issues, I don't seem to have any.... with Firefox under linux or winblows.....
