Sometimes the user enters the wrong URL of a site into the browser and hence lands up on some error page. This can happen when a visitor enters the URL of your site into the browser but you can certainly change the look of your error pages from those weird one's to something which is better. You can customize the error pages of your site with the help of cPanel control panel. Follow the steps given below to do so :
1. Under the ‘Site Management’ option in cPanel, click Error pages. 2. Now, click on the button for the required error page as you will have different buttons for different error pages. For example :- 500 button. 3. HTML code of the error page is to be entered now. Note : In order to insert variables into the displayed code, it is possible for you to use the buttons at the top of the page. 4. After following the above steps properly, click the "Save" button and you are done. Hope this helps

![]() Yes, you can use customized Error pages to hide the original messages like 'page not found', 'internal server error', 'bad request', 'forbidden' etc. or say the error pages listed under "Edit Common Error Codes" and "Show All HTTP Error Status Codes" However, when it comes to the message 'Bandwidth limit exceed', unfortunately, you cannot have customized error page for this message ![]() The reason for this is the fact that when a visitor lands up on an error page, the bandwidth of your hosting account or server is used If the bandwidth limit of your hosting account or server has already exceeded, the site cannot use more bandwidth for error page and hence the visitor will see the error page made by your hosting provider for 'bandwidth limit exceed' message ![]() Hope this helps
