Server Migration

Can anyone throw light on the server migration that take place at your organisation? What is the downtime? Does your system admins constantly monitor the migration process?

Matthew,

In the past Micfo would post in the forums and e-mail all users of a server with complete details of why and when a server migration would take place. For the most part, they have been pretty painless. I have not had a bad experience with what they have done so far. --Mitch

If you scroll down the last migration was scheduled on Friday, August 29th, 2008 for Colombia.micfo.com announcing every snippet information, migration is monitored till the time it is completed to avoid any loss of data.
