Unable to connect to mail server via outlook express - Micfo.com, LLC.

I get the error message

The server responded with an error. Account: 'mail.(removed for privacy).com', Server: 'mail.(removed for privacy).com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

with outlook express, any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I can still get my mail via the website tho,

Try to use mail server ip as incoming and outgoing mail server instead of mail.domain-name.

Tried the server IP that I log into for the cpanel with and without the port number with no success

Hello noxdrako,

Please disable the Fire Wall or any Anti Virus software if you have installed for 2 to 3 hours example: avg, Norton etc.

seems to have cleared up. Turning antivirus back on. Will monitor closely
