Exclamation

Hi shiju,
What are you meaning by that?
If "free hosting" is not a option then I think micfo should delete this page http://www.micfo.com/free.html

Considering how the paid hosting Terms of Service hasn't been changed in the past six months since they told us about a limit to allow audio/software files under 1MB, as long as the software is created (not maintained - originally created) by the site owner (the ToS says you're not allowed any software/audio/video) then I'd expect to see that page there for a long time to come!

Business 'tricks' is almost certainly the best way to put it as well

Business "tricks" is an understatement!!!
It comes close to "Questionable or Fraudlent Acts"!!!!
I sure hope that other users can see the "WRITING ON THE WALL". If you can't see it I bet yall will be seeing it soon enough and be crying about it. There are way to many web hosting companies out there to stick with Micfo. With cPanel I believe the transfers from cPanel to cPanel are painless for the most part.

Yeah, all a new host needs is your username and password and they can grab a perfect copy of your site and dump it onto their servers with little/no issues. You don't need to download and upload everything, they'll do it over their much quicker connection, and all of your settings like email will remain

If you will attend top MLM Meeting you have to pay for even single piece of paper and so on for your lunch..nothing comes free.
Bottomline; If you need quality you have to pay for it.

Precisely why I have moved my main sites off micfo servers and I am happy to pay a lot more somewhere else. Even after sinking $400 into a last ditch attempt with micfo for the promise of quality. Funny how all my email issues have disappeared with my new host.

Well sheepdog , that was short time issue . If you can ask anybody out here about servers now , you will mark the difference . Few things need time to get stablize. I am happy as everything is much under control there days

Greetings

Yes there are ups and downs, Well now a days Micfo.com is rocking as we have added few servers to manage the accounts. Also introduced VPS and Windows Packages which is quite interesting

I dont consider almost 2 years of almost constant problems with always being promised that things are going to get better ' short time'. but glad to hear things are better now - we will see in a few months - it never lasts here.

Yeah, I remeber things picked up after the move to Equinix, only to nose dive to server loads peaking at over 180! (My old server - Aurora)

Spreading out to cover Windows hosting as well sounds like a recipe for disaster :\ I'm glad I'm getting less bandwidth but better support elsewhere for only a couple of dollars more per month

As for 'free lunches', I've had one or two recently Normally it involves some of the managers near me having a meeting with food (six managers, food for a dozen or something!) and then one of them coming in to the office after the meeting and saying "okay, the left-overs are there for people who want them"
