Are these sent certified mail by any chance? I got a message from the postal service stating that I have a certified letter waiting for me. Too bad the post office is closed. :(

Greetings,

The payments can be made via wire transfer (deposited to your bank account) or via Western Union (collect it cash at any Western Union branch).

Currently we do not offer payments via PayPal. Please let us know if you have any other question.

Bests,
Amir Golestan

Where do we give Micfo the account info and what all do you need? I'd also prefer to receive it via a check as Ashed suggests.

Greetings,

Unfortunately we do not issue checks. As we mentioned, payments are made to clients whether via wire transfer (Yes, wire transfer can be made to clients in Thailand) or Western Union.

reedfloren, once you reached your US$ 100.00 commission, contact billing@micfo.com and they will guide you further.

Bests,
Amir Golestan

Wow, really? You just go down there and get your cash? That's nice. Aren't there any fees for that?

How exactly does wire transfer work? Do I just tell you my bank and account information? Any other fees involved? Not that I have earned $100, yet. :(

I've done bank transfer before and it is basically your bank name, your bank number, your name... stuff like that.

$25.00, that's outrageous!

That pretty much covers it except for one thing, Amir. Care to explain what Swift is?

"S.W.I.F.T. (or SWIFT) stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. It is a non-profit organization comprised of member financial institutions. It was established in 1973 by European bankers who needed a more efficient and secure system for inter bank communications and transfer of funds and securities. Until then, all inter bank communications were by telephone, telex, courier, or mail.

Whereas a Fedwire contains no instructions past the basic funds transfer itself, SWIFT is a messaging service. Each type of message is a condition of wire transfer. One cannot refer to a SWIFT message as a "Conditional SWIFT" per se, since all SWIFT's carry conditions."
