Now you know about them you should sign up for the affliate program so that way when you refer other people you will make some money then. You also SAID "No biggie, but it is kind of a letdown to miss out on possibly getting some of my hosting costs deferred, as i run my site for family and friends enjoyment, not for profit." again you have NO REASON to get upset. The Affiliate Program is VERY CLEAR on their website and in the forum!!! The last post you made was uncalled for.
I am just putting my 2 cents worth in!

Thanks for your 2 cents, Charles.
What I take offense to is the suggestion that I'm trying to rip off Micfo, and that my friend and I would be the equivalent of all these Fraudulent claims they receive for "referrals".
My friend is their customer. They have his contact information, they can easily contact him in various ways to verify the legitimacy of the claim. For example, they have his email address for the domain he is hosting with Micfo, they have his e-mail address from his ISP that he used to sign up with. He even told me he put my name and domain name down as a referral in the sign-up process.
Yet Micfo claims it's a fradulent attempt on my part to take advantage of them.
I still say it's no biggie about the referral comission. However, inferring that I am attempting to defraud their organization
IS a biggie, at least in my book.
