Can I use Adsense?

I'm trying my hand at "domaining" and looking for some extra cash while I'm doing it. One site isn't porn and there isn't any nudity but it is intended for adults.

Adult. Does this mean even if the site isn't a porn one but is intended for adults you cannot use Adsense?

Alternatively you can check with adbrite, I heard they accept adult content.

There are very few adsense alternatives for adult sites - like, innoventiveideas.com ; clicksor.com ; adbrite.com etc.
You might want to have a look. I have not tried it, but have heard that it offers a good payouts. I would suggest you to stick with one for few months and get the first hand experience of it. ATB

You can also try out using few affiliate programs for adult products or services that best match to your site.

Recent Update about Adsense:

AdSense referrals program will retire from August, Google asking publishers to remove the referral code. More detail at blogs.zdnet.com/Google/?p=1082 and help center covering the subject at google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=14882.

Adbrite could be good alternate option to use, you get more targeted ads and better control on your ad space.
