Google Claims-They are not so Big - 07-03-2009, 02:44 AM

Google pointed out that they just aren't that big, Google's "senior competition counsel," is working hard to convince the public that "competition is a click away. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/29/te...er=rss&emc=rss

I think Google is right, top company by net income:

* Microsoft: $18 billion
* IBM: $12 billion
* Google: $4 billion

If you speak about competition, don't you think that even Microsoft has many competitors? Still, they have kept their market. I think Google can cross $18 billion.

Well, I think the reason Google is not the biggest in the fact that Google earns most of the income from Advertisement programs (sources say 99% ). Most of the services of Google are free of cost

When it comes to Microsoft, they hardly have anything for free and they charge for almost all the products and services they offer

That is only possible if Google bring an innovative products for their users which have no competition initially.

In fact there is no real competition for MS, many company thought they could overthrow Microsoft and it hasn't happened even after three decades. Google’s main revenue source is advertisers, to compete with Microsoft to cross $18 billion, Google should first change their revenue model.
