Password Reset

I am a long time customer and things have changed for the worst with Micfo in my opinion. I have noticed that the tech department has change to a non-english speaking department. And those who do attempt it don't speak it very well. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against those who can't speak english, but when getting support it would be nice to understand what they are saying. I also have been hung up on several times. Just today I had a wonderful experience with support. I was trying to get my password reset and after being on the phone a good 20 min. It is still not done due to having the call dropped. ( I felt like I was hung up on). I tried serveral times to explain my problem, which I felt was an easy fix, and like always I was ask to submit a ticket. What good is phone support if you have to submit a ticket.

Anyway I am thinking of moving my sites to a new host. I am sure this will not hurt Micfo and that is not my intentions. I really don't want to move but this is getting a bit out of hand and I feel I have put up with it long enough. Service is why I came here in the first place some years ago and now I feel this has gone by the wayside.

Submitting a ticket in that case is probably a security thing, and so that they have it on record in case they ever get told to change the password and it turns out it isn't the owner.

As for the phone line dropping, it sounds like they've still not got that fixed. I've never used the phone line (no way I'm paying the calls from the UK!) but I've heard various bad reports on the forums about bad quality and line dropping :\

Good luck finding another host.

Since I posted this I have yet to have my ticket replied to. And back in the day someone from Micfo would reply to this forum.

Yeah, I know, there's a group of us who have been waiting over three weeks for further clarification about a point in the Terms of Service that could mean we all need to find a new host :\

On the plus side, at least the servers now seem more stable than they once were, even if I keep having to report them running slightly slowly with server load at about 10

SKYPE supports calling to 800's line

For free? I thought most to-landline calls cost you Having broadband, my fiancee's mother has suggested we all get SKYPE anyway so that we don't have to pay phonebills for the family phone calls

Cool Now all I'd need is a mic and a Skype account Although considering how bad call centre places normally are with those headset microphones, can you image if I was running on a headset too - neither of us would be able to hear what the other was saying half of the time!
