Thank you all for suggestions and inputs. More comments are appreciated. We are just trying to gather more information to come up with something that's best for all of us.

Sincerely,
Amir.

I really prefer your last theme suggestion Amir, the blue/white is a lot better than the actual one..

Good to hear that. But as others also suggested, we should keep the company color scheme as well. So may be we modify the current one and add the one I suggested as well in your control panel so you have choice of few themes.

Sincerely,
Amir.

It is like using small characters on price tags at the foodstore on the top shelf, 20% of the customers can't read it for different reasons...

I also find the colors aggressives, the old light blue was a color more pleasing and relaxing. A known and published fact from any psychologist.

I would greatly appreciate to be able to revert to the older theme in my CP.
I Agree With exdiogene,

At Least you can Enable "Defualt Vbulletin theme" then users like exdiogene can select another theme.

Hello ,
Thank you Amir , Nice Theme

Totally I Think Micfo Need more changes , Like Forum Sections Add/Remove , And Also its better add more Forum Moderators And Super Moderators.

Dont keep and zoom in hosting related forums only , keep active and useful other forums however for this action first you need moderators with good skill ,

From what i read it seems that more people dislike you present theme, so why do you stick with the few ones that encourage you to keep it?

So the best question to ask ourself would be: Why a company would chose a "color scheme" for all the website sections that is best for advertising and worst for communication?

Then use some methods to discourage them to communicate like:
- Using eye stressing colors in the interfaces.
- Using small fonts so stress even more.
- Using very small tickets editing zone.
- Using a short timeout period so they will loose their text.
- Tell them that we will call back and do not call them back.
- Even better, take out the 1-800 line and ask them to pay long distance calls.
- When they send a ticket with more than 1 question just respond to one.
- When they send back the other questions not answered, just answer to only
one again.
- Use foreign support because if we pay better local qualified technical personal, customers would be too incline to communicate with them frequently and it will cost us more money anyway.
- We invest on the fact that most of the customers are lazy then most of them will stick with us anyway. So, do not improve communications or services.

For myself i got Russell to fix the GD::Image problem in less than 2 months by writing here, even if he blamed me for it. Suffice to say that after more than 5 tickets and hours of writing a customer can have enough to try to make someone understand and solve a problem that is not only affecting him on the server but all others using the same features. Sterile communications without good will can be very annoying.

Now will it be helpfull to tell again that Horde is still not working on Japan? That i still receive this message:
"A fatal error has occurred
Could not connect to database for SQL SessionHandler.
Details have been logged for the administrator."

How many days should we wait before we could use Horde again? Is it in the low priority list?

First of all the response time is rarely the one advertised, and the quality of response is not good. Now that the 1-800 line is off we have to PAY long distance calls for support. I have offered Amir a chance to know the behavior of his employes and it seems that it is not enough important to call me back.

I suspect even this green on a lighter backdrop would not be that bad

if it were this green, and the black wallpaper, but white body with black text, it would keep the theme of micfo and more closely match their website.

exdiogene,

No need for any sort of attack mate. If we were not willing to listen to you or any other client, we wouldn't even think about using another theme. We would simply say " this is the new theme, like it or dislike it. " But that wasn't the case. We just trying to figure the best for everyone and then implement it.

Most of your accusations are totally baseless. We don't use our forums as a method of marketing, otherwise there would have been a link to our forums from the web site. There has never been a link to the forums and we only use it as a way of communication with our valued customers, NOT potential clients.

There has been no breach of contract whatsoever, take your time and read the terms of service, valued added services such as toll-free number and etc. can be removed without prior notice.

G'day,
Amir

Mitch,

You still have the option to use the GreenFox theme which we initially implemented. We also done some major changes to that one which might be more pleasant to eyes. Let me know what you think.

Sincerely,
Amir.
